H2Open Newsletter: Sabrina Wiedmer crosses Dal Raita Channel

It's something of a crunch week for us as we're working hard to finalise everything for the Open Water Swimming Show this weekend as well as put the finishing touches to our Aug/Sep issue, which we've scheduled to send to the printer next Thursday.

Things to look out for in our next issue include our suggestions on who to watch in the marathon swim in Rio, training sessions to help you improve your pacing and your use of the pace clock and advice on how to keep your swimming technique in top shape. We've also got Ross Sullivan's story on how he swam the length of the River Severn, Lori King talks us through her round-Bermuda swim and Richard Royal explains why he thinks an English Channel relay is not just for elite swimmers.

Meanwhile, in this week's newsletter, Sabrina Wiedmer becomes the first women and second person to swim across the Dal Raita Channel, Wayne Soutter - the first person to do this swim - has had his efforts turned into a stage play, and Simon has become an STA Open Water Coach and Tutor.

Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming
