H2Open Newsletter - Can we have this in the UK please?

Published: Wed, 06/08/16

Last weekend Jonathan and I went to Spain to visit the Vies Braves sea swimming lanes project. It was such a tough assignment that we decided we both needed to be there and Jonathan has stayed on a few extra days to rest and recuperate.

The sea swimming lanes are a fantastic way to explore the Costa Brava and some of the shoreline around Barcelona and we'll be publishing a full article on the project in the Aug/Sep issue of the magazine. I liked it so much I wish we had something similar in the UK. For a brief overview, see "Can we have this in the UK please?" or check out the video below.

This weekend the H2Open team will be at the Great North Swim in Windermere. We'll have some bean bags to sit on and magazines to read, so come over, put your feet up for 10 minutes and ask us your open water swimming related questions. We'll do our best to help.

Meanwhile, the June/July issue should have reached all subscribers by now unless you live somewhere exceptionally remote. If you want a copy it's available in a limited number of WH Smith stores or you can buy it directly from our distributor here.

Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming,
Simon Griffiths
