H2Open Newsletter – Turning the Tide

Published: Wed, 04/27/16

Earlier this week I saw my first official warning of the year about the dangers of swimming in open water. As open water swimmers we are aware of those risks and the benefits of mitigating them. In this week's blog Simon calls for a turn in the tide of public opinion on swimming outdoors: for open water swimming to become more popular it must stop being seen as dangerous, eccentric or hardcore.
Join the debate and let us know what you think. If we publish your letter in the magazine you will also be in with a chance of winning an Arena Fastpack 2.1 backpack worth £52. Email editor@h2openmagazine.com
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming,
