Top stories from our website this week
For those of you who are not winter outdoor swimmers, Easter has perhaps come a little early this year to tempt you back into your local lake or river, but it won't be long now. Meanwhile, here are the top stories from our website this week to give you something to read while you're waiting for the water to warm up.
1. What’s your swim training type (and what does it say about your personality)?
Are you a swimming work horse, a meteor or an accelerator? Take a look at our swim training types and see what you think.

2. What to eat before your morning swim
Should you or shouldn't you eat before swimming in the morning? And if you should, what's best?
3. Sean Conway talks rafts, unsupported swims and using tidal currents
We managed to have a few words with Sean Conway before he sets off on his round Britain triathlon
4. Don't talk open water swimming down
It's sometimes fun to joke about the hardships we face as open water swimmers, but shouldn't we be doing more to tell the world how brilliant it is?
Our new hoodies from Selkie
We liked the new range of kit from Selkie Swim Company so much that we’ve partnered with them to supply our new hoodies. Selkie is a new brand focussed on providing the best possible kit for open water swimmers and this is reflected in the quality of their organic hard-wearing hoodies. Made with a double layered hood and raglan sleeves, the hoodies are designed to maintain their shape and fit. In addition, they are GOTS and Fair Wear certified production garments.

We’ve also got a new slogan for the back: "I came, I saw, I swam", which to us conveys the feeling, the freedom and the sense of adventure that open water swimming brings regardless of age or ability.

We hope you like them as much as we do.
