How to get an invitation to our fifth anniversary party and where to find our new issue

We're celebrating five years in open water swimming & we'd like you to join us
On Saturday 12 March, we'll be celebrating five years since we launched H2Open with a party at Hampton Pool - and we've got around 100 free tickets to give away to readers. They'll be a barbecue and free drinks and the pool will be open for swimming (although you will only be able to swim before you've had a drink!). It promises to be a fun evening and we're looking forward to welcoming some of you
there.
As the tickets are free we're going to run a little competition to decide who gets them. This will mainly be through social media so make sure you're following us on Facebook (/h2open), Twitter (@openwaterswim) and Instagram (@h2openmag). There will also be a quiz on our website for which we will send the link in our newslettter on 17 February.
With Facebook, we'd also
encourage you to use the "See first" option for our page as we will be posting some clues for the quiz there. To use "See first", go to our page, hover over the 'Like' button (as shown below) and then click "See first", which appears below "Posts in News Feed". This will improve the chances of Facebook showing you our posts and you'll be more likely to see the clues.
We will start posting clues next week, so keep checking in.
There will be a different
competition on Twitter and Instagram. Look out for details on how that will work in next Wednesday's newsletter.
For those of you who don't know Hampton Pool, it's a 36m lido heated to 28 degrees all year round, so however cold it is outside you can always jump in the water and warm up.
Meanwhile, for everyone up at Chillswim this weekend, please find our stand and say hello to Jonathan. He's signed up for the 240m swim on Sunday and may need rewarming afterwards.

Where to get our fifth anniversary issue
Our fifth anniversary issue is printed, posted and has now arrived with most subscribers. If you want to get hold of a copy, here are the options:
1) Wait until later this week and buy in WH Smiths (but note we are only stocked in around 150 high street stores)
4) Take out a subscription and select to start with the current issue.
5) Call our subscriptions team on 01778 392 467 and place an order over the
phone
6) Steal a copy from a friend.
If your copy hasn't arrived, please contact our subscriptions team on subscriptions@warnersgroup.co.uk / 01778 392467. Overseas subscribers, please note your copy could take one to two weeks to arrive.
We now maintain one list for our regular weekly email newsletters (usually sent out on Wednesdays at around lunchtime in the UK) and emails about H2Open and a separate list for sponsored emails. The latter are dedicated emails for specific events or products related to open water swimming that we send out on behalf of our advertisers. You can manage which type of emails you receive using the “Change Subscriber Options”
link at the bottom of this email. We really appreciate your support of our advertisers.
