Fifth anniversary issue coming up...
January is always a busy month for us as we have our February/March issue to produce and however much we plan ahead in December the Christmas break puts us behind schedule. This year is our fifth anniversary so we really should know better! Anyway, we've locked Jonathan in a room and won't let him leave until he's finished editing, so I get to do the newsletter this week while he produces the magazine. Look out for an
update from Keri-anne Payne, who was our Open Water Hero in our first issue and returns to those pages ahead of her attempt to qualify for Rio. We've also got stories from a couple of readers who have collected every single issue of the magazine as well as reviews on the world of open water swimming from many of our first issue contributors. It's going to be good and should be with subscribers by the end of January.
If you're not yet a
subscriber and want to make sure you receive our fifth anniversary issue, you can sign up here.
Also, please put a note in your diaries for 12 March when we will be hosting our fifth anniversary party at Hampton Lido.
We're going to have some free tickets for subscribers so watch this space for details on how to get your hands on one soon.
HUUB have more than 200 ex-demo wetsuits up for grabs on a first come first serve basis. These include several sizes in the popular (and fast) HUUB Archimedes II, which normally sells at £549.99 and is currently on offer from as little as £219.99. With savings of up to 60% off new prices across the range this might be your best chance to pick up a bargain wetsuit for 2016. And once they're gone, that's it!
We now maintain one list for our regular weekly email newsletters (usually sent out on Wednesdays at around lunchtime in the UK) and emails about H2Open and a separate list for sponsored emails. The latter are dedicated emails for specific events or products related to open water swimming that we send out on behalf of our advertisers. You can manage which type of emails you receive using the “Change Subscriber Options”
link at the bottom of this email. We really appreciate your support of our advertisers.
Please note, we do not nor will not provide your email address to any advertiser or other third party.
