[H2Open Newsletter] - Three steps to better recovery and faster freestyle

Published: Wed, 02/03/16

If you're anything like me then you probably spend more time thinking about your catch and pull than you do about your armstroke recovery. But a more efficient recovery makes your stroke more stable – and therefore faster. Check out this week's training article from Total Immersion head coach Terry Laughlin for three steps to better recovery. Plus, we also look at how taking the mental pressure off yourself can actually make you faster.
The April/May H2Open/Selkie Reader Photo Contest is now open. Send us your best open water swimming shots to be in with a chance to see them published in the next issue of the magazine – and win a bundle of kit from Selkie. See our website for details on how to enter the contest
The February/March issue of H2Open Magazine is now being sent out to subscribers. It will be in the shops next week – but if you can't wait, you can order your copy directly from us to be delivered to your door.
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming!
