[H2Open Newsletter] - Our Top 10 Tips for Cold Water Swimming
Published: Wed, 10/14/15
Welcome to the newsletter. As it is getting colder in the UK, this week we bring you some top tips to keep you swimming outdoors through the autumn and winter – with or without your wetsuit.
For the Christmas issue of the magazine we want recipes of your favourite cakes to eat after a cold water swim. If we feature your cake you will win a Big Bobble Hat so send us your recipes and the reasons why your cake is
perfect for cold water swimming.
We are also looking for readers' New Year's swimming resolutions. Send us your swimming goal for 2016 and if we choose to feature it in the magazine one of our experts will give you tips and advice on how to achieve it.
In the news this week a relay team attempts to swim the length of the River Ganges, elite action from the penultimate leg of the FINA World Cup and a team of charity swimmers set a new world record in the Swahili Channel. Plus, the latest blog from guest blogger Deborah Durbin.
We want to hear from you! Tell us about it and you could win
next issue’s letter-of-the-month prize: an Aropec Breaker waterproof backpack worth £50.99. Email your letters to editor@h2openmagazine.com
We have recently updated
our email policy in response to requests from both our advertisers and readers. We now maintain one list for our regular weekly email newsletters (usually sent out on Wednesdays at around lunchtime in the UK) and emails about H2Open and a separate list for sponsored emails. The latter are dedicated emails for specific events or products related to open water swimming that we send out on behalf of our advertisers. You can manage which type of emails you receive using the “Change
Subscriber Options” link at the bottom of this email. We really appreciate your support of our advertisers.
Please note, we do not nor will not provide your email address to any advertiser or other third party.
