This week we are busy at Outdoor Swimmer Towers finalising last-minute details to make this Sunday's Outdoor Swimmer Show the best yet. On the banks of the Thames at Henley, come along to pick up tips and kit to enhance your outdoor swimming experience, meet the OS team, browse new and classic swimming books in our Book Nook, hear talks from our inspirational guest speakers and browse the stands of the top brands in outdoor swimming. Plus, there is still time to enter the Henley Mile and enjoy swimming down a beautiful rural stretch of the river Thames. The Outdoor Swimmer Show is open from 9am to 3pm and is free to enter. Our July issue is out now. We look at how swimming can benefit you whatever your age,
look at how to avoid being kicked in the head in a mass start, swim in an industrial dock, meet our swimming heroes, deconstruct your stroke, strengthen your core, lark around with our dogs, swimrun in Cornwall, and generally pack as much into one magazine about swimming as possible. Order your copy directly from
us or subscribe now and we'll also send you a pair of Outdoor Swimmer flip flops and a Swim Wild And Free hat. Swim wild and free, Jonathan Cowie Editor, Outdoor Swimmer
The Hurly Burly with Level Water
The Hurly Burly is an epic journey - it's the ultimate in wild swimming! It's a 10km swim set in North Wales on the
edge of Snowdonia, this swim is the most beautiful ever found. It starts on the sandy beach of Barmouth. The first part of the swim is up the wide and sandy estuary (hopefully with the wind behind us) with mountains on either side, and then it’s through ‘the narrows’ and into a more sheltered part of the estuary.
Tickets have sold out. However, Level Water is the charity partner for the event. We have tickets for half price (£49) so you can secure your place right now!
