Last night I was at the launch of new book 21 Miles by Jessica Hepburn. It was an evening of talk by inspirational women about Channel swimming, challenges and fertility. After 11 unsuccessful rounds of IVF Jessica decided to swim the Channel – and on 2 September 2015 she successfully touched land in
France. Read about her story in the July issue of Outdoor Swimmer.
In the meantime, our May issue is out now and full of inspiration for your own outdoor swimming adventures. Our Gear section features our choice of training aids to help you tune up your technique. With the sun finally shining, read our guide on how to safely enjoy swimming outdoors – plus our top tips on sea swimming. Explore swimming spots in Patagonia, the Czech Republic
