The ice is thawing, rumour has it there's a hint of spring in the air and Jonathan (our editor) and Beano (his dog) have, quite sensibly, escaped on holiday, so I'm in charge of the newsletter! Exciting times... And not just because the March edition can now get
past the snow to your doorstep - swim adventures are sprouting up all over the place - Chillswim Coniston entries have just opened and the This Girl Can Henley Swim is back, SwimQuest is heading to the Philippines (we're all invited!), Beth French's encounter with a shark in the Molokai channel is coming to a town near you and James Kirby has taken a wicked pic of himself jumping into Durnal Grubs tarn in the Lake District (warning: there is a bare bottom in this newsletter).
It is also the time of year where we remember that outdoor swimming skills extend to an
ability to get up early and speed type to register for events - the Seahorse Swim sold out in record time! I really can't wait to see you all for swims this summer and I'm excited about the training in between. Coincidentally, there's loads of swimspiration for all of that in our March edition, which you can get from just £4.15 if you subscribe, or order your copy from us directly or download the digital version now.
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming
