How to Make a Top DIY Swim Film

Published: Wed, 11/08/17

If you like to get creative by making swim films with your camera or mobile phone, we have a treat over the next six weeks. Starting today, BAFTA Award winning film director Stefan Stuckert will be sharing his top tips for making DIY swim films – from preparation and story to final editing. I can't wait to put his tips into practice with my own films. If you have any of your own great swim films you would like to share, send them in to me at editor@outdoorswimmer.com.
Stefan is director of 'Oceans 7', a new feature documentary on open-sea swimmer Beth French and her extraordinary challenge to swim across the world's seven toughest sea-channels in a single year. If you would like to be involved in the film check out their website for details of a crowdfunding campaign starting tomorrow.
This week we also have a great dryrobe competition for you – enter now to be in with a chance of winning a dryrobe Advance, compression bag, beanie, lanyard and tote bag. Perfect for winter swimming adventures!
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming,
