Win a Swimzi. Win a dryrobe. Smartphone film tips. And we remember Terry Laughlin.

In today's newsletter we have part three of our series on making DIY swim films on your smartphone by Stefan Stuckert, the BAFTA-nominated director of 'Oceans 7', a feature documentary about the open-sea swimmer Beth French and her extraordinary challenge to swim across the world's seven toughest sea-channels in a single year. In order to help raise funds for shooting the last crucial scenes of the film, the Oceans 7 team are currently running a crowd funding campaign. They need your support, so, if you like the project, please make a pledge: http://bit.ly/O7-crowdfunding. They have some great rewards (including subscriptions to Outdoor Swimmer magazine!) and 5% of all funds raised go to the charity Action for ME.
If you’re still struggling to find something to treat yourself or the swimmer in your life this Christmas, look out for an email later in this week about our Complete Outdoor Swimmer package. It includes a hoodie, t-shirt, pair of flip flops and the option to add a one-year subscription, all for just £99.50.
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming,

Jonathan Cowie

Editor, Outdoor Swimmer
