Last weekend Team OS were out and about at a variety of events: founder Simon was trying out (and loving) his first swimrun race at Breca Jersey, contributing editor Alice was revisiting her love of the Dart 10k, and I was reliving my youth at a festival in Wales (don't worry, I managed to swim
too – trying to beat the current in the River Dwyryd estuary).
This week we are very excited to announce that regular OS contributor Dan Abel is off on another adventure – a 34km circumnavigation of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands to raise funds for Autism Cook Islands. Only two people in history have successfully completed this swim, including the inspiring Meda McKenzie, and both
swims took over 17 hours. Thirty years on and the scene is set for one heck of a swim! Read more in news below.
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming.
