Outdoor Swimmer Newsletter – Do You Really Know If You Are Starting Your Swim Too Fast

Published: Wed, 03/22/17

This week's newsletter comes with a collective sigh of relief from the Outdoor Swimmer team. We successfully launched the first issue of the new magazine at the weekend at the Tri Expo in Manchester, subscribers are receiving their copies this week and the magazine goes on sale in shops tomorrow. You can also buy the magazine directly from us. Let us know what you think of the first issue by emailing me at editor@outdoorswimmer.com
It was great to meet so many outdoor swimmers and potential outdoor swimmers at the show in Manchester. Hopefully our Beginner's Guide, part 1 of which is free with the first issue of Outdoor Swimmer, will help tempt those potential outdoor swimmers into the water!
It is always interesting to see what new swimming and nutrition products are coming to the market. At the show we were next to Max’s Protein Bars. If you haven’t seen them before, check out https://maxbars.co.uk/. We really like them and ate most of his stock while driving back on Sunday night...
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming.

CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN
Gordon Adair swimming in Peddlers Lake, on top of the Connor Pass near Dingle in the west of Ireland. "You have to climb the mountain to get there and the water temp was 7 degrees Celsius. It really is a special place to swim and not many have ever done so. It's a good photo but really is so much better in real life."
