On Monday morning at my local lido we had the first freeze of the season. Unfortunately I have flu, so sensibly (but reluctantly) didn't take the plunge – although plenty of swimmers were enjoying dicing with the ice and then shivering themselves warm afterwards with coffee and cake. What a way to start the working week – a
mini adventure before the daily commute. I hope the ice returns soon – but not before I get better! Send us your pics of you winter swimming and we will publish the best in the SwimSnaps pages of the magazine.
