H2Open Newsletter – Keep Calm and Go Swimming

Published: Wed, 11/09/16

Welcome to all swimmers. On a day when the world seems to be losing its head, we would like to celebrate the inclusivity of the outdoor swimming community. In seas, lakes and rivers around the world, the outdoor swimming community continues to redefine the parameters of what is possible. In the upcoming issue of H2Open magazine (out at the end of the month) we report on Nejib Belhedi's inspirational swim for peace, the local community activism of the King's Cross Pond flash mob and the Madswimmers' Dead Sea swim to raise awareness of environmental pollution. In today's newsletter we report on Howard James's record-breaking Channel swim, pushing the boundaries of what the human body is capable of. So keep calm, go swimming and dream big.
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming,
Jonathan Cowie
