H2Open Newsletter – Seven tips for rough water swimming races

Like a last hurrah of summer, the past weekend saw some amazing swimming from two record-breaking women. In the United States, Sarah Thomas broke Chloë McCardel's record for longest unassisted swim by swimming 81.8 miles in Lake Powell in 56 hours, while Chloë was in the English Channel racking up her eighteenth crossing to equal Des Renford's Australian record.
The October/November edition of H2Open is now in the shops and is full of inspiring stories and motivation to help you achieve your own outdoor swimming goals (even if they aren't quite as mammoth as swimming for 56 hours!). An annual subscription to H2Open magazine costs less than a pair of goggles – and you can get your first three issues for just £8.70 when you pay by direct debit. Subscribe and save money on the cover price. Or download the digital version now!
Enjoy the newsletter and happy swimming.
