On Monday, we'll be chatting with Blue Health coach Lizzi Larbalestier about the rapidly growing field of blue health—the science of how blue spaces can support better health, wellbeing and healing.

As an outdoor swimmer, marine mammal medic, ocean advocate and Blue Health Coach™, Lizzi helps people connect with water in meaningful, restorative ways. Through these connections, we can build communities and help improve our environment, showing that blue health isn’t only good for us as individuals, but also for our relationships with each other and the world around us.

We'll explore science-informed strategies to ease anxiety and restore vitality.

MEET LIZZI LARBALESTIER

Founder of Going Coastal Blue, Lizzi is a PCC‑accredited Executive Coach and a leading voice in nature‑connected coaching. She created the ICF‑accredited Blue Health Coach™ training programme, co‑designed the IOS Blue Health mobile app, and is the author of blue, a Cornwall‑inspired poetry collection.

Since 2009, Lizzi has specialised in coastal coaching, and as an ICF supervisor and mentor, she is recognised for championing the transformative power of blue spaces through workshops, events, and keynote speaking.

Her work blends nervous‑system regulation with deep connection to the natural world to support clearer, more grounded decision‑making.

A committed systems thinker and passionate ocean advocate, she has received multiple awards for her professional contributions and voluntary environmental work.

Lizzi’s new book The Healing Power of Water offers science‑informed strategies to ease anxiety, restore vitality, and cultivate a more fluid, resilient way of living.
