Did you swim with us at the Great North Swim? Did you stop by for a chat at our stand? We had a fantastic time meeting swimmers and readers, and swimming with you in Lake Windermere.

The Great North Swim is the first event I ever did, and it's just as special 11 years on. With a huge range of distances to choose from, an event village, and talks and entertainment, it's a wonderful celebration of open water swimming. Look out for our event review in the upcoming issue.

We're already looking ahead to next summer's swim. The Coventry Building Society Great North Swim will return to the stunning Brockhole on Windermere from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 June 2027.
