A quick note from me about an online workshop I'm running tonight (6pm UK time) with the Renaissance Swimmer Club.
We're going to look how practising pool skills - primarily streamlining and underwater dolphin - can boost your overall swimming speed, even if you mostly swim outdoors.
These are easy skills to practise, require almost no additional effort, can easily be added to your swimming practise, and support your long term swimming speed development.
Yet lots of
swimmers neglect them.
We've got a small number of guest passes available at £10 each. If you're interested, sign up below. You'll also get an insight into how the Renaissance Swimmer Club works.
p.s. Renaissance Swimmer is a personal project I run alongside Outdoor Swimmer. It allows me to indulge my other passion in swimming: masters pool racing. I've found that pool racing helps me swim faster outdoors, and open water swimming improves my pool racing. Renaissance Swimmer is
about becoming the best swimmer you can be by deliberately adding variety to your swimming.
