Join Guinness World Record Holder Deborah Gardner to learn how to keep swimming strong as you age.

Last year, Deborah became the oldest female to swim across the Catalina Channel, at 66 1/2 years old - and she has no plans to hang up her swimming kit. We're delighted that Deborah will join us on Zoom to explore how we can continue swimming - and even improving - as we get older.

We will discuss:

🌊Should older swimmers train differently, and if so, why and how?

🌊The importance of proactively managing your health as you age.

🌊Should you do land training to support your swimming?

🌊Mental strategies for training and challenges.

You will also have the opportunity to ask Deborah your own questions.

As well as being a record-breaking marathon swimmer, Deborah Gardner is an in-demand keynote speaker, winner of Best in Class Smart Speaker 2024, Global Top 30 Hospitality Gurus 2024, and Eventex 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry 2024.

As a child, Deborah had Olympic dreams, but those were crushed by America's boycott of the 1980 Games. She then broke into sports broadcasting at a time when this was an unusual choice for a woman.
