As 2025 draws to a close, let's celebrate our outdoor swimming world together.

The last issue of the year is a huge celebration of where we swim. To elevate our favourite swimming venues, we want yours on our front cover. If you swim somewhere beautiful and love your community, send me your high resolution photo - editor@outdoorswimmer.com and you could be our next cover star.

How many of the venues we feature in our new issue do you recognise?

In urban, rural and coastal areas, outdoor swimming venues are booming. They offer safe, lifeguarded swimming in clean water - ideal for everything from your first dip to training for a big challenge.

Our Founder, Simon, is super lucky - he only has to walk a couple of hundred metres from his house to swim wild and free in the Thames. So, what did he make of swimming in a managed open water venue?
