What adventures will you be having this summer? I'm getting ready for weekend of wild camping, paddleboarding, yoga, sauna and - of course - outdoor swimming.

I've recently switched on to hiring kit. Renting gear challenges the status quo of buying, so it's more budget, space and environmentally friendly - and it makes outdoor adventures more accessible to more people.

It also encourages new adventures - I will be trying out packrafting next month. Yeah, I'd not heard of it either until I spoke to Sarah, the founder of Adventure Kit Hire. Here, she shares what you can hire and why.

STUCK ON CHOOSING A WETSUIT?

It's one of the questions we get asked most often... how do I choose a wetsuit? With so much choice and many factors to consider, from how fit to technical benefits, wetsuit shopping can be overwhelming. 

"Let us do the hard work," is Sarah's mantra. Hiring a wetsuit isn't just about trying before you buy, it also takes the hassle out of choosing a wetsuit. "Bypassing wetsuit shopping is what we do the most," says Sarah. "Swimmers give us their vital statistics and tell us what kind of swim they're doing, and then we can hire them the wetsuit that they need." 

 You might be embarking on swimming further or taking part in your first event. Or, you might be looking to replace your old wetsuit because it's worn out or your body's changed shape. Whatever your reason, hiring is in a excellent choice.
