GO REMOTE

One of the easiest ways to have a real escape is to go off the beaten track. Avoiding the usual tourist traps, you can find beautiful, remote locations all around the UK.

CAMP WILD

Campaigners have recently fought hard to preserve wild camping on Dartmoor. And for good reason - there's no escape like sleeping under canvas in the wild.

We love Camp Wild because it gives us access to previously off-limits land for camping. Our Features Writer, Rowan, went to one of Camp Wild's camp outs, immersing in the wild for 24-hours.

RETREAT AND RESET

The key to escaping for a day or a couple of days is switching off. If it takes you a while to reset your mindset away from work, life and stress, a retreat might help. Meditation, yoga and therapies alongside immersing in beautiful, natural settings helps you relax and reset quickly.

Retreats can last anything from a couple of hours to a couple of days - and their power to revive you can be profound.
