Swim events are our favourite way to celebrates the outdoor swimming community. Events like the Cold Water Swimming Championship last weekend and the upcoming Big Swim for International Women's Day (above) are glorious celebrations of everything we love about swimming outdoors.

At Tooting, our founder Simon won medals for his freestyle and ice fly. Equally impressively, our editor Ella's glittery eyeshadow stayed in place during her races (pictured below).

Ella will also be at the International Women's Day Big Swim. This is an utterly joyful event - and tickets are selling fast.
