Lorraine Candy is an award-winning journalist, author, editor and podcaster. Formerly the editor-in-chief of Sunday Times Style, ELLE and Cosmopolitan she co-hosts the chart-topping weekly podcast Postcards From Midlife. Lorraine regularly writes for newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Mail, The Independent, Grazia and Good Housekeeping. She is a mother of four with over a decade’s experience writing columns on parenting and women's issues.
She is an advisor to The Tate art galleries and on the media advisory board of the education
charity TheirWorld.
Lorraine is a keen open-water swimmer: She completed a 6-person relay of Lake Geneva in 2017 after learning front crawl in her late forties. She has taken part in the Henley mile, Bantham Swoosh and Scilly Isle Swim Challenge (2-day) and swims regularly at Parliament Hill lido in London and Shepperton Lake. She is a dog lover and grew up in Cornwall.
