The full multi-sport, Keswick Mountain Festival returns to the shore of Derwentwater in the Lake District on 17-19 May, 2024. Get ready for an immersive
weekend with an emphasis on outdoor sports, activities, live music and inspirational speakers, plus food and drink stalls and incredible array of outdoor brands.Â
As well as three open water swim distances to choose from, you’ll find a jam-packed schedule of sporting events and outdoor activities, including trail runs from 5k to 50k, adventure race, mountain run, three hiking events, a local schools’ duathlon,
triathlons and two cycle sportive routes.

Whatever distance you swim at Keswick Mountain Festival, you will enjoy swimming in the beautiful
Derwentwater under the shadow of Catbells and views of Skiddaw and the Borrowdale valley. Choose from 750m, 1500m or the 3.6km Point to Point swim.Â
Every open water swim entry at KMF includes access to the festival all weekend: live music, daytime speakers and activities. Enter a swim and simply enjoy the festival all the through from Friday to Sunday. Â
KMF now has two live music stages for you to enjoy – the Big Top and the Band Stand – both showcasing talented, local music
acts. Check out the Band Stand for chilled out vibes and acoustic sets, or if you’re feeling the adrenaline, head into the Big Top for some electric performances.
