Our partners at Henley Swim are gearing up for the biggest event of their season: the Outdoor Swimmer Henley Swim Festival on 13-14 July. It’s going to be a bumper weekend of fun, celebrating both the wonderful sport of outdoor swimming and Henley Swim’s 20th year! 

Riverside camping is now available on Friday and Saturday nights so you can make the most of the weekend. Registration and the event village will be open from Saturday lunchtime with food and drink stalls, live music, children’s entertainment and all the latest swim kit and offers from our wonderful brand partners. Enjoy a summer evening by the river with food on site or wander down the riverside path to enjoy the delights of Henley-on-Thames. 

Sunday is swim day! Choose from swim distances ranging from the 200m Splash (a fun event for adults and children over 8) to the classic one-mile event all the way up to the UNLTD (where you swim as many miles as you can across the day!). Sports presenter Ben Croucher will provide live commentary as well as interviewing swimming personalities from around the world. 

This year we are very excited that synchronised swimming group Almost Synchro are collaborating with Rock Choir for what promises to be a unique performance of artistic swimming in the river! Live music throughout the day and plenty to entertain the kids will add to the fun festival vibe. 

The river lido will also be open all day for free, lifeguarded dips – perfect for those wanting to have a go at river swimming without entering an event.
