Gorgeous new prints which are saving textile waste from landfill – what's not to love? 🌴
🌴 Deakin & Blue bring deadstock to life 🌴
Deakin & Blue becomes the first UK swimwear brand to launch a deadstock range saving textile waste from landfill
How gorgeous are these new designs from sustainable swimwear brand Deakin & Blue!
Launched this month, D&B Deadstock Designs is a limited edition range of swimsuits and bikinis made from deadstock fabric – the surplus leftover
from the fashion industry which would otherwise go to landfill.
We particularly love the super-soft and beautifully tailored Reversible X-Back in Tropical Forest (with a sultry Forest Green on the reverse to suit your mood), understated meadow flowers in a Reversible Plunge and a joyful Daisy & Cobalt print, available in a one-piece or a comfortable and supportive low-cut bikini.
As well as five new glorious prints, expect all the things you know and love about D&B – brilliant bust support, inclusive sizing, repair and recycle
service PLUS exciting updates to some of their most popular designs. Think reversibility (two designs in one!), adjustable straps, wider gussets and better bum coverage. Every piece is available in sizes 8-24, AA-HH cup.
Read on for an interview with Rosie Cook, Founder and CEO, and a word from our Editor Ella Foote who tried out the new Daisy & Cobalt X-Back at the Thames Lido yesterday. Then shop the collection using code
MADEFROMWASTE to get £15 off these fabulous new designs.
*£15 off orders over £100 including items from the D&B Deadstock Designs range plus accessories such as dry bags, towels, totes and beanies.
Offer expires Monday 4 March 2024.
“These beautiful fabrics would have been thrown away had we not intervened. As a brand we’re always thinking about how to improve our sustainability, which is important to both us and our customers.”

“I’m motivated by that moment when a woman looks at her reflection in the mirror and smiles at what she
sees.”

As a sustainable brand, Deakin & Blue is dedicated to being an antidote to fast fashion. In the March issue of Outdoor Swimmer magazine, we spoke to founder Rosie Cook about her journey to growing a sustainable swimwear brand and ask what we can expect from the new D&B Deadstock
Designs.
“What a beautiful, bright and happy print. I can't help but smile when wearing this gorgeous suit. The colours are so much more vibrant in the flesh and I love that it is reversible. It's put spring into my swim and has me yearning for longer, warmer swims.
The fabric is soft, comfortable and with that brilliant signature support you can expect from D&B.”
