As outdoor swimmers, we often see the direct effect of single-use plastics on the rivers, lakes and oceans
where we love to spend our time. So it makes sense that we want to lower our own impact on the environment by making considered choices about the kit we buy.
So I was delighted when Zoggs asked
me to try out two swimsuits from their new season collection, and I discovered that not only did the
suits deliver in terms of their innovative design, robust 100% chlorine proof fabrics, customisable fit and excellent stretch, compression and shape retention but that an astounding 95% of Zoggs swimwear is now made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles. In fact, two plastic bottles go into every swimsuit made from Zoggs’ Ecolast or Ecolast+ fabric.
Offering customisable fits to suit all shapes and swimming styles, the new leisure and training swimsuits from Zoggs are an outstanding choice for environmentally responsible swimmers.
For our review we tried out two swimsuits – the Botanica Adjustable Scoopback from their leisure range and the Sunset Atomback One Piece from their training collection. Read our review to find out how they performed and more information on Zoggs sustainable practices.
