District.
The Arla Great North Swim takes place on Friday 9 – Sunday 11 June and offers swimmers a range of distances to get

What’s so amazing about the UK’s biggest
open water swimming event, is seeing people from all walks of life, with different levels of experience, coming together to embrace the elements, take the plunge and finish as an amazing community of open water swimmers.
So whether you're a complete beginner, you're in it for the thrills and the challenge, or you've got kids aged 8+ who fancy trying their hand at open water swimming... This is an ideal weekend for families and friends to enjoy together.
The idea behind the SwimRun is to take part as a pair and tackle the challenge together. In your teams of two, you'll enjoy the best of both the open water and the trails around the Lake District.
Depending on your level, or appetite for
a challenge, you can choose from the Short, Middle or Endurance routes – all taking place on Saturday 10 June. Now is the time to partner up and sign up!
