I hope you’ve had a good week. In the UK, we’ve been battered by rain, which always causes concern about sewage overflows. It can, however, also create opportunities for some fun swims. The flow in the Thames where I swim was up to 160m3/s on Friday, which meant we could drift 400m with the current in about six minutes. I’ve also been thinking
about risks and benefits in winter swimming and have shared my thoughts below.
