Welcome to the new-look Outdoor Swimmer magazine! We have been thrilled with the reception of the new issue and are so excited to share our fresh focus on all things swimming.

As well as a beautiful new look, we also have lots of new sections, features and contributors. There is brand new content across our new Health and Coach sections: Viv Rickman is getting us moving on dry land each month and Anna Southwell is ensuring we are well nourished with her healthy recipes. This month we look at waterproof suncream, in our training section coach Paul Fowler gives a beginner's guide to 'sighting' and we ask whether weeds will really drag you down to the bottom of the lake! Plus, Olympic bronze medallist Cassie Patten on how to switch from the pool to open water.
