NEW LOOK FOR OUTDOOR SWIMMER
Outdoor Swimmer’s website and magazine have got a new look this month. As well as new content, contributors and style, there are still all the favourites for new and existing subscribers.
Whether you are scaling mountains to seek out that idyllic tarn or popping down to your local river, the Caribou waterproof, roll-top backpack, with zip-out dry bag, is the perfect way to carry all your swim gear. There’s plenty of room for other Wild Moose essentials too; our changing robe, poncho
towel, Hottum, Koji and more. And, it is so comfy to wear, thanks to its adjustable carrying system.
Eden Project co-founder Sir Tim Smit has backed calls to restore the lido in Grange Over Sands, Cumbria. A recent visit to the derelict site organised by Save Grange Lido campaigners, saw officials from the Eden Project North explore the old pool and discuss plans for redevelopment.
Summer is here and so is the June issue of Outdoor Swimmer magazine! On the cover this month is Kate Rew, founder of the Outdoor Swimming Society, opening up about the origins of the OSS and her new book. Elsewhere, you can learn about making your own swimsuit and why you should consider a swimming event alongside coaching, travel,
history and more.
