Entries for SwimQuest's 2022 Scilly Swim Challenge went on sale this morning and are expected to sell out fast. There are now options for both a one-day or two-day challenge, both taking place in early September next year.

Outdoor Swimming Session at the Kendal Mountain Festival - last minute tickets
1pm Sunday 21 November, Kendal Leisure Centre
Hosted by Colin Hill, director of Ullswater Swim Place, and Ella Foote, contributing editor at Outdoor Swimmer, this session brings swimmers and dippers together to celebrate our love for rivers, seas, tarns and lakes. Featuring:
- Guinness World Record holder Cath Pendleton, who in 2020 became the first female to swim a mile inside the Antarctic Polar Circle!
- The Adaptive Athlete Sophie Etheridge who has just completed a Windermere Two Way Swim.
- Former Olympic swimmer Neil Agius who holds the world record for the longest, continuous, unassisted, current-neutral swim along a single-segment natural route - a 125.6km, 52-hour swim between Linosa and Gozo.
- And local swimmer Winnie Poaty who learnt to swim as an adult and is now campaigning to get everyone swimming no matter their skin colour or background.
